What We Believe

The Seaside Seventh-day Adventist Church Core Beliefs

The Seventh-day Adventist Church emerged from the heart of the Protestant Reformation, embracing the foundational principle of Sola Scriptura—the Bible as the sole rule of faith and practice. Our beliefs are not based on human tradition or authority, but are rooted entirely in the inspired Word of God. As Jesus declared, “Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth” (John 17:17).

We hold Scripture as the supreme authority in our lives and teachings. The 28 Fundamental Beliefs of the Seventh-day Adventist Church reflect a Christ-centered, Bible-based understanding of God’s love, His plan of redemption, and our mission to share the everlasting gospel with the world.
