Every decision, direction, and ministry initiative is rooted in the teachings of the Bible and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Our Pastoral Team is dedicated to shepherding the church with Christ-like compassion, wisdom, and integrity. They are here to provide spiritual care, biblical teaching, and personal support for every member of our church family—from children and youth to adults and seniors.

Meet Pastor Dafydd Sarella
Lay Pastor – Seaside Seventh-day Adventist Church
Born into a Hindu family in India, Pastor Dafydd Sarella’s journey to Christ is a powerful testimony of God’s grace. While studying at a Christian academy, Dafydd encountered the love of Jesus—and his life was forever changed. That encounter sparked a deep and personal walk with Christ that continues to inspire his ministry today.
Over the past 12 years of dedicated service, Pastor Dafydd has spent 7 years in the mission fields across Asia, ministering in some of the most spiritually challenging and culturally diverse regions. His heart for missions has shaped him into a humble, passionate, and spirit-led servant of God.
Now serving as our Lay Pastor at Seaside Seventh-day Adventist Church, he continues to pour his energy into building up the body of Christ, not only within our church but also in the wider Seaside and Astoria communities. His ministry is marked by compassion, authenticity, and a deep desire to see lives transformed.
Pastor Dafydd strongly believes that only God’s love—shared and experienced—can bring true healing, revival, and reformation in a person’s life. He emphasizes the importance of having a real, experiential relationship with Jesus, encouraging others to walk closely with the Savior each day.
A passionate mental health coach as well, he brings a unique blend of spiritual insight and emotional wisdom into his sermons and pastoral care. His messages are vibrant, relevant, and Spirit-filled—reflecting a life that is deeply connected with God.
His favorite Bible verse is:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33
And his favorite chapter is Psalm 27, a reminder of God’s strength and steadfast presence.
Whether in the pulpit, in the community, or walking alongside someone in need, Pastor Dafydd is a living testimony of God’s transforming grace.
